ASIS NYC Chapter Names MSA Security CEO ‘Person of the Year’

NEW YORK — The ASIS New York City Chapter has selected Patrick Timlin, CEO of MSA Security, as the 2013 Person of the Year. He will receive the accolade at the NYC Chapter Awards Luncheon on May 9, during the 23rd NYC Security Conference & Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Center.

In 2010, Timlin took a two-year leave of absence from MSA Security to serve as Deputy Commissioner of Operations of the New York City Police Department (NYPD). Timlin returned to MSA Security in 2012 following a two-year leave of absence after accepting an appointment from Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly to serve as Deputy Commissioner of Operations of the New York City Police Department (NYPD).

Appointed by Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly, Timlin created and implemented various initiatives, crime reduction strategies, administrative processes and operational efficiencies while in his position with the NYPD. He served with the NYPD for 22 years (1980-2002).
