iPad Bandit Caught on Camera at ISC West

Advanced Technology Video (ATV) arrived at ISC West last week geared up to garner attention for its new Value-Line Series of DVRs and other CCTV offerings.

While a busy show floor provided just that opportunity, the company’s promotional iPad giveaway also attracted the attention of a particular attendee with dubious intentions.

As ATV reps were busy handling all the booth foot traffic, some certifiable knuckle brain spirited away the iPad. A frustrated ATV crew reported the theft to police. Video footage from onsite cameras would eventually be reviewed and voila, a perpetrator-in-action is plainly seen doing the deed.

A local television news crew got wind of the crime and reported the story from the show floor. You can the view the news report, along with video of the actual crime, by clicking here.
