Kaba Access Control of Winston-Salem, N.C., introduces the Simplex mechanical pushbutton exit trim product line. These exit devices are certified for compatibility with Detex Advantex 10 and 40 Series rim exit devices. According to Kaba, installers should use the Simplex 5000, LP1000 and 2015 Series with the Detex 10 Series standard rim panic devices and the Simplex 2015 Series with the Detex 40 Series narrow stile exit device. No modifications or additional parts are required. The Simplex 5000 with universal exit trim is designed to work with rim exit devices made by most brands, such as Arrow, Corbin Russwin, Detex, Dorma, Monarch, Precision, Sargent, Von Duprin, Yale and others.
