Secura Key contactless Smart Card Reader

Secura Key of Chatsworth, Calif., announces the release of its ET8-RO-W-M read-only, Wiegand-output reader designed to mount on a standard mullion or doorframe. The newest in the e*Tag® family of 13.56MHz contactless smart-card readers, this unit is designed specifically for the access control market.

This weatherproof, fully potted unit can be secured to a mounting surface with security screws concealed by a secondary bezel. It has individual control inputs for red and green LEDs and a buzzer. A 10-pin connector along with a supplied mating connector/pigtail allows the reader to be plugged into the field wiring at the time of final hookup.
