Lexington, Mass.-based Software House, a Tyco Int’l company, releases version 10.0 of its C•CURE 800/8000 access control software. The product supports the iSTAR Edge two-reader IP edge door controller.

iSTAR Edge leverages existing IP networks and increases system reliability by providing access control decision-making and intelligence at the door without sacrificing functionality, according to the company. The access control and security system software has been designed to take full advantage of iSTAR Edge’s features, including peer-to-peer communications, clustering, intrusion zones and keypad commands, extended card formats and cluster-based anti-passback.
