Secura Key Plug in Wireless Network Module

Secura Key of Chatsworth, Calif., announces the availability of a wireless network module that allows the company's SK-ACP 2-door access control panel to connect to a Local Area Network (LAN) in order to monitor and control an access control system.

The module replaces outboard network adapters, eliminating the requirement for an additional enclosure, cabling and a power supply, according to the company. The wireless module is designed to enable network access in locations where there is no preexisting Ethernet cable.

The compact SK-WLS MOD for 802.11b/g plugs directly into the SK-ACP panel (revision "N" or later) and receives its power from the panel. To enable access to a local network, the module integrates a fully developed TCP/IP network stack and operating system.
