The Incepta Series locks by Sargent, an ASSA ABLOY company based in New Haven, Conn., features Aperio wireless lock technology, which allows users to expand existing electronic access control systems.
The product features an integrated card reader, along with a wireless radio and built-in monitoring functionality. It uses short-distance wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) with an Aperio hub to link to an electronic access control system.
Deploying fully encrypted AES 128 wireless communication, the product supports all formats of HID 13.56MHz iCLASS authentication.
