Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) has released results from its first Security Trends survey, which aims to identify and measure the monitoring/installation industry's revenues, profits and attrition rates on a monthly basis. Improved demand in the residential space is certainly refreshing news, same for government sector performance. But negative growth in the education, commercial and health-care markets may, in part, account for the 35 percent of respondents who reported red ink to date.
