SAN JOSE, Calif. — Quantum Secure has appointed John Skowronski as vice president of global sales. 

Skowronski brings a strong combination of experience, enthusiasm, domain knowledge and demonstrated record of achievement to Quantum Secure. His new role will focus on continuing to drive the momentum of the company’s physical identity and access management (PIAM) software by expanding the sales footprint internationally, and by developing strategic channel program and partner-driven business to accelerate sales.

Skowronski was formerly vice president of business development at physical security information management (PSIM) supplier Proximex and led the acquisition of the company by ADT. While at ADT, Skowronski built the global sales infrastructure of Proximex to achieve dramatic acceleration of revenues and market presence of the company. Other previous positions include director of strategy and marketing at UTC; EMEA business development director at Tyco Fire & Security; director of national accounts at ADT Security Services; and regional manager at Northern Computers.
