Stanley Convergent Security Solutions Inc. (Stanley CSS) has purchased four more Sonitrol franchises, all located in the Northwest. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The newest additions are Sonitrol Cascades, Sonitrol of South Oregon, Sonitrol of Spokane and Sonitrol of Yakima. All the franchises collectively operate as Sonitrol Cascades from Vyanet Capital Group.
The acquisitions mostly comprise commercial accounts, including education, local government, property management, banking, retail and restaurant customers, according to the company.
The addition of Sonitrol Cascades adds a sought-after group of customers and allows the company to expand its audio verification services throughout the Northwest, says Tony Byerly, president, North America, for Stanley CSS.
“This transaction is a natural fit for us since our 2008 acquisition of Sonitrol Corp. for $275 million. The Sonitrol Cascades franchise acquisitions are a great opportunity for us to expand our operations in Washington and Oregon,” he says.
