Bosch Security Systems Inc. has opened a new training center in Minnesota that will provide more convenience for its integrator customers in the greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul area to attend classroom sessions on its products and systems.
The first classes held at the new center, located at the Bosch facility in Burnsville, Minn., will be on IP encoders and cameras and on Bosch’s G Series control panel. The courses include hands-on training on product installation, programming and configuration, and cover troubleshooting tips.
Upon completion of the courses, attendees will be able to perform end-to-end installations of Bosch equipment and provide the necessary support to maintain the systems over time, according to the company.
“Feedback from security dealers and integrators points to top quality technical training as essential to their success,” says Jim Musshafen, Bosch’s director of customer solutions support. “Our customers continue to respond positively to our ongoing investments in new training locations and course offerings. As a result, we expect to grow our annual number of industry professionals trained through classroom and online courses to more than 4,500 people this year.”
The recent integration of the Security Systems and Communications Systems divisions will also allow Bosch to leverage the facility for training courses that cover security products and products from its communications portfolio, Musshafen says.
