NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- ADS Security (ADS) has teamed up with building materials manufacturer LP Building Products and Hardaway Construction Corp. to help rebuild a Nashville-based preschool in partnership with television's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
For more than eight years, the ABC reality show has been transforming rundown houses throughout the nation. In its latest endeavor, the show aims to assist the Sweatt family, who has been running Lighthouse Preschool since 2003. The school, which has helped more than 200 local families with shelter, food, water, clothing and other services, was completely demolished during a flood in May.
"Nashville pulled together as a community and weathered the severe storms and flooding that occurred in May," says ADS President and COO John Cerasuolo. "ADS Security is proud to partner with LP and Hardaway Construction to donate a state-of-the-art security system and help secure a brighter future for our community."
The project, which began on Sept. 10, is expected to be completed in a total of six days. Normally, a project of this nature, which requires thousands of man-hours, takes six months to complete.
"Our organization is adept at meeting tight deadlines and has many eager associates who are focused on supporting our community," says ADS-Nashville General Manager Craig Leyers. "This project is a great example of teamwork uniting our associates, vendor partners and the entire Nashville community."
