NEW YORK — Security Industry Association (SIA) used this week's ISC Solutions convention in New York as a platform to unveil Security Week, a new coordinated venture to be held in the Big Apple in 2011 that will combine multiple industry events.

Securing New Ground, ISC Solutions and the Tri-Association Awards Dinner will be held in succession the first week in November. Together the events will offer attendees and stakeholders valuable resources to all aspects of the security industry, says Richard Chace, CEO of SIA, the sole sponsor of ISC Solutions, owner of Securing New Ground and a co-presenter of the Tri-Association Awards Dinner.

"Investors, manufacturers, distributors, end users and others will find the information and networking opportunities that they need at these events," Chace says.

Security Week will begin Nov. 1-2 at the Roosevelt Hotel with Securing New Ground, a conference that brings together executives, investors and users of security technology.

"Securing New Ground will start Security Week by focusing on some of the most basic and critical challenges for any company — those related to business growth, industry financing and market trends," says Sandy Jones, principal consultant at Sandra Jones and Co., the conference founder. "For 15 years, Securing New Ground has offered unique financial information and the best networking in the industry for top executives and investors in the security industry. As part of Security Week, SNG will be able to provide even more value in the future."

On Nov. 3-4, ISC Solutions will take place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Formerly ISC East, the newly formatted ISC Solutions event focuses on security applications and aims to make meaningful connections between manufacturers and end users.

"These four days in New York will offer security professionals unprecedented opportunities to gather information, network and learn about new business possibilities," says Ed Several, group vice president and general manager of Reed Exhibitions, the show's producer.

The Tri-Association Awards Dinner, which is presented annually to honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the security industry, will be held Nov. 3 at The Lighthouse on Chelsea Pier 61.

More details about the events are available at www.securityweekonline.com.
