NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (Stanley CSS) has added two more Sonitrol franchises to its operation with the acquisition of Sonitrol of Oklahoma City and Sonitrol of Tulsa (Okla.). Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
The sale includes mostly commercial accounts including retail, restaurant, industrial, financial and education customers, as well as government and residential accounts, according to the company.
Customers from the newly acquired franchises will be serviced by the existing Stanley CSS offices located in each city. Rob Cass, who previously owned one of the Sonitrol franchises, will join Stanley CSS as district general manager for the combined businesses.
Sonitrol of Oklahoma City was founded in 1979 and Sonitrol of Tulsa was founded in 1975. The franchises service Oklahoma City and Tulsa respectively and the surrounding areas.
"The acquisition of the Sonitrol of Oklahoma City and Tulsa franchises is a natural fit for us as a provider of Sonitrol products and services, with over 52,000 Sonitrol customers nationwide," says Tony Byerly, president, Stanley CSS. "We're excited to be adding the [franchise] customers to the Stanley family."
