CLIFTON, N.J. — T&R Alarms has achieved the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certificate from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for the second consecutive year.
The achievement of ISO 9001 certification acknowledges T&R Alarm's commitment to quality management and provides a foundation for continuous improvement, facilitating further enhancements to their customer service levels.
The alarm company was certified by SGS, an inspection, verification, testing and certification company, for installation, integration, maintenance of security and fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intercom, electrical systems and low-voltage communication systems.
"IS0 9001:2008 System Implementation has made us a better and more successful company," says T&R Alarms President Tom Sansone. "We now have greater knowledge and understanding of our customers' needs and expectations, our processes, and our workforce capabilities. This has enhanced our company philosophy and dedication to quality, continual improvement, and customer satisfaction."
Established in 1971, T&R Alarms provides electrical and security systems in the New Jersey metro area. A case study of the company's IP-based security installation within the prison block at Bergen Regional Medical Center was featured in SSI's September issue.
