BUDD LAKE, N.J. — SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION "Monitoring Matters" columnist Peter Giacalone will serve as a guest speaker at the Electronic Security and Technology Association's (ESTA) annual General and Financial Meeting, scheduled for April 10-13 at the Le Pavilion Hotel in New Orleans.
Giacalone's three-part presentation will be based on a series of articles and classes he has written, focusing on how installing security contractors can increase revenues and profitability. Included will be instruction on selling and providing various traditional and non-traditional central station services, remote video monitoring and management, and personal emergency response systems (PERS).
"Dealers and integrators continue to seek new or improved methods in increasing their revenue," says Giacalone. "These modules will give the dealers a very good perspective on what it takes and why it makes sense to execute the entry into these channels."
The ESTA consists of a small group of medium-sized independent alarm dealers. During the annual Operations Meeting, attendants are able to share information and best practices on ways to improve their businesses.
