LAS VEGAS — Reed Exhibitions will debut ISC Mobile this week at ISC West at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Designed to enhance the show experience, the mobile application allows users to receive show alerts from any Web-enabled mobile device. Additionally, the tool will allow attendees to build their personal ISC West agendas, view conference sessions and search for exhibitors. The application will also offer a floor plan with point-to-point routing to help show-goers maneuver around the exhibit hall.
"ISC West Mobile offers many benefits to attendees and exhibitors alike," says ISC Events Vice President Ed Nichols. "Having the ISC West event in the palm of your hand is quite powerful for security professionals. It enables them to take advantage of show features in a planned and organized way."
Additionally, ISC West's sole sponsor, the Security Industry Association (SIA), will launch its own iPhone application at the show. The SIA app will include content about the association and its role in the industry, the benefits of SIA membership; industry news and events and security-related photos and videos. It will also contain at-a-glance exhibitor and conference information with a link to ISC West Mobile for users who want more in-depth coverage of the show.
ISC West mobile is available for iPhones, Droids and BlackBerrys. It can be downloaded from the App Store for iPhones and by visiting www.iscwestmobile.com for other devices.
Anixter, which is sponsoring ISC West Mobile, will conduct "The Amazing Anixter Race" during the conference using the application. More than $10,000 in prizes will be available.
