Micro Key Software Helps Central Stations Attract More Alarm Dealers

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Micro Key Solutions has enhanced its Millenium Series monitoring and management software to allow contract central stations to offer additional benefits for their alarm dealers.

With the help of telephony solutions provider Communication Services Solutions (CSS), Micro Key offers the Caller ID Injection service. The feature enables central stations to make outbound calls with the name and phone number of the customer's alarm dealer. The dealer's number will then appear on the client's caller ID.

The feature also detects whether or not the call comes from a company using a third-party central station. In this case, the service passes the alarm dealer's name to the central station operator, enabling the operator to answer the call using the dealer's name.

"This feature allows central stations to attract more dealers," says Micro Key Business Development Manager Victoria Ferro. "The software can now match account data to a call automatically. It instantly sends dealers and central station operators all the information required to instantly take action."
