LUBBOCK, Texas — Western Star Security (WSS) has joined the Honeywell Authorized Dealer for commercial security systems (CSS) program.
Started in 2009 by the father-son team of Delton and Dane Daniel, WSS provides access control, monitored alarm systems and video surveillance with remote Internet and smartphone access.
"Security systems evolved greatly over the years with customer needs and lifestyles. Honeywell has been a key player in this technological evolution," WSS Co-founder Delton Daniel says.
Among other offerings, the company provides first response services from trained security guards across a 25-county area of West Texas. WSS also developed a 12-month contract with a 30-day escape clause without restrictions to meet customers' needs.
"Businesses have grown to trust us over the years because we've created security solutions to fit their individual needs," Daniel says. "Being able to rely on Honeywell's expertise and extensive portfolio will help us continue to do that by staying ahead of the technology curve."
As an authorized dealer, WSS has access to customized marketing reports, sales and technical training opportunities through Honeywell. The program will also provide design, installation and support services for the integrator.
"WSS is a strong addition to the program because it's is always looking to provide greater value and service," says Dave Kaufman, director of dealer programs, Honeywell. "Embracing technological innovation is one of the most effective ways to enhance that value and service because it shows you're taking steps to understand how people and companies interact with technology. That's key to designing the best security system."
