LAS VEGAS — After an energetic first day at the 2012 ISC West, SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION offers a second-day preview for conference attendees.
The Security Industry Association (SIA) will host the New Product Showcase (NPS) Winners’ Forum in room 502 at 9 a.m. During the event, judges will present the winners of the top two awards — Judges’ Choice and Best New Product. Representatives of the winning companies will provide insight into how these cutting-edge innovations are transforming the industry. A question-and-answer session will follow.
Later in the afternoon, Mission 500 will host a special ceremony at 4:30 p.m., at Booth No. 14035, honoring security firms and professionals for charitable efforts in helping communities in crisis. This year’s recipients include Vivint, which will receive the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award, and Monitronics Central Station Monitoring Director Mary Jensby, who has earned the Humanitarian Award.
As the last track of the ISC Premier Education Series, the Technology Panel will cover the industry's most talked-about technologies. Attendees can choose courses from four categories, including access control/biometrics, municipal surveillance, hosted security and video. Seminars will range from one to two hours in length.
Additionally, the Education Series qualifies for continuing education (CE) hours. Attendees will receive certificates of attendance after the show to self-report education hours for CE credit.
The exhibition hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Don’t forget to visit SSI on the show floor at Booth No. 11145!
