NASHVILLE, Tenn. — With the goal of expanding its footprint in the Mississippi area, ADS Security has acquired the accounts and related assets of Golden Triangle Security Alliance in Columbus, Miss., for an undisclosed amount.

“ADS continues to expand into new markets across the southeast by looking for companies with a tradition of outstanding service to their customers,” ADS President and COO John Cerasuolo says. “Golden Triangle has built a strong business through superior customer service and we are excited to have the opportunity to establish our first office in Mississippi with a company of this quality.”

Started 27 years ago, Golden Triangle installs and monitors video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire alarm, home audio and emergency medical response systems to residential and commercial customers. Cerasuolo declined to elaborate on the type of accounts ADS acquired from the company or how much RMR the deal brings in, but tells SSI that former Golden Triangle clients will benefit from ADS’ offerings.

“New customers will have access to our full suite of residential and commercial security services, plus our ADS mobile management service and new Home and Business Control services,” he says.

Additionally, Golden Triangle customers will now have access to ADS’ CSAA Five Diamond monitoring facility as well as the option to pay their bills online using the company’s customer portal on the ADS Web site.

All seven of Golden Triangle’s employees will continue to stay onboard with the company, Cerasuolo says. In the near term, Golden Triangle will operate as a division of ADS.

Established in 1990, ADS provides security and life-safety installation and monitoring services to more than 70,000 commercial and residential customers throughout the southeastern United States.
