NEW YORK — Reed Expo has rescheduled ISC East to take place Nov. 28-29 at the Jacob Javits Center, according to a notice from Ed Several, senior vice president for ISC Events. Originally set to run Oct. 29-30, the show was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.

Following is the text of Several’s E-mailed announcement:

“We hope you and your families are safe and well after Hurricane Sandy.

I wanted to personally thank you for your patience and understanding as we dealt with the postponement of ISC East. Your flexibility and support for ISC East during this difficult time have been greatly appreciated by the entire team.

Over the last few days I have received many requests from attendees who are eager to know our new dates and have asked us to proceed with rescheduling ISC East as soon as practical allowing time for the immediate recovery efforts to be completed. Based on this we understand the need for ISC EAST is greater than ever and will be creating an event offering industry professionals from the Northeast an opportunity to:

  • Gather and share how they dealt with the storm
  • Explore new technologies and products to help resecure the Northeast
  • Gain insight as to how our great security industry can work to resecure the Northeast.

ISC East has always been important to thousands of attendees in the Northeast security market. But now, more than ever, security professionals are in need of new products and a place to share their experiences and ideas.”

ISC Events will send out a follow-up E-mail next week with additional setup information, hotel links and requests to change exhibitor badging.
