LAS VEGAS — Monitronics Int’l earned three Stevie Awards at the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer service.
The reference to ‘Stevie’ is taken from the name Stephen, which is derived from the Greek for “crowned.” The Sales & Customer Service awards program recognizes the achievements of call center, customer service, and sales professionals worldwide. Held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel on Feb. 25, the ceremony was broadcast by the Business TalkRadio Network. This year, the Stevie Awards received more than 1,100 nominations from companies of all sizes and various industries. More than 120 executives worldwide wide participated in the judging process to select the winners.
Monitronics received a Gold Stevie Award in the Inbound Marketing Program of the Year category for the company’s 2012 ISC West campaign, “You Have a Mission,” which promotes the strengths of the firm’s dealer program.
Additionally, the company’s Five Diamond-certified central station earned a Bronze Stevie Award in the Contact Center of the Year (Over 100 Seats), Business Services & Diversified Services category. Sandy Rivers, who manages the central station, also won a Bronze Stevie Award for Contact Center Manager of the Year.
“Sandy and the alarm response center deployed several new strategies in 2012, resulting in a clear department vision, consistent alarm response times, and improved customer experience,” says Darin Anderson, vice president of monitoring operations, Monitronics. “We appreciate this recognition and we will continue to demonstrate the highest level of commitment to our customers.”
