MADISON, Miss. — The Alarm Co., a security provider based here, has joined Honeywell’s First Alert Professional Dealer Program.
Established in 1989, The Alarm Co. provides a variety of security and low-voltage system solutions to residences throughout the central Mississippi region. The company, which specializes in burglar and fire alarms, CCTV surveillance systems, access control solutions, home theaters and A/V systems, recently opened a retail store to provide the public easier access to its security, A/V and installation products.
Joining the First Alert Dealer program will help the firm better serve its customers and stay abreast of industry trends, according to The Alarm Co. Owner Tony Collums.
“Becoming a First Alert Professional Dealer will help us continue to build on our industry expertise,” he says. “It gives us the opportunity to collaborate across the largest dealer network in the country.”
The independent security dealer network has more than 500 participating installing security contractors nationwide. The program provides customized support in sales techniques and marketing strategies for intrusion, fire, video surveillance and access control systems in commercial and residential facilities.
