Honeywell Life Safety has opened a new state-of-the-art training center 30 minutes from Chicago O’Hare Int’l Airport at its facility in Lincolnshire, Ill. The facility is open to Honeywell authorized distributors.
Notifier, Gamewell-FCI and Honeywell Analytics will provide hands-on instruction on the latest fire alarm and gas detection systems to distributors and customers currently utilizing these technologies.
Students will be able to practice and demonstrate competency in complex application programming on specially constructed fire alarm training systems.
“We worked to create a training experience that’s as close to reality as possible. All of the classroom equipment is top-notch, just as you would see installed in the field,” says Mark Levy, CEO, Honeywell Life Safety. “In the future, we hope to have more facilities similar to Lincolnshire, making it more accessible for our customers to remain technically advanced.”
Classes range from two to five days and cover the latest fire alarm systems, including Notifier’s ONYX Series fire alarm and voice evacuation systems and Gamewell-FCI E3 Series expandable emergency evacuation systems.
