NORTHFORD, Conn. — A free, online life-safety course from Notifier by Honeywell will teach users all sides of emergency communications systems (ECS) planning and design.

Presented by Jack Poole, a fire protection engineer and principal of Poole Fire Protection, the course will also cover new IP and GSM/cellular fire alarm reporting technologies. Other topics include advanced forms of smoke and CO detection and Int'l Building Code (IBC) seismic fire protection requirements.

"We integrated video of the actual seminar with slides and then divided them up into the applicable sections," NOTIFIER Communications Manager Marissa Guillen says. "It makes it quick and easy for users to locate the information they're looking for."
