Notifier Launches Microsite to Help Installers Integrate Fire Alarm, ECS Systems

NORTHFORD, Conn. — A new online resource by Notifier by Honeywell will educate users on effectively deploying integrated fire alarm and emergency communication systems (ECS) through virtual demonstrations.

The Emergency Communications Systems microsite walks users through real-world disaster events, such as fires and weather-related events, within various facilities using Notifier systems.

The microsite educates facility and security managers on technologies, such as indoor speakers, LED signage, graphic displays and outdoor giant voice systems. It also trains users on distributed recipient technologies such as E-mail, text messages and computer pop-ups to communicate to the facility occupants..

"Our goal here was to help users understand how Notifier fire alarm systems can provide a comprehensive ECS for their facilities," says Notifier Communications Manager Marissa Guillen. "As the events of an emergency unfold, you see how all these different communications mediums work together. From that, users get a good idea of how certain pieces could really make a difference in their own facility's response to a critical incident."
