Designed for uses on wet or dry sprinkler systems, the P-1590 and R-1590 sprinkler system gauges by Ametek U.S. Gauge of Horsham, Pa., are 3½-inch gauges that are UL-Listed and FM-approved.
The R-1590 retarded air gauge is used on the sprinkler head side of the control valve in a dry system to monitor line air pressure. It also has the ability to accept water pressures up to 250 PSI upon system activation, according to the company.
The P-1590 is used on the water supply side of the system to indicate available source pressure. It is used alone on wet systems where water is available to the sprinkler head at all times and is able to handle water pressures up to 300 PSI.
Both models feature a polycarbonate one-piece ring and crystal window and an impact- and chemical-resistant molded case.
