To make it easier for users to test its InnovairFlex intelligent smoke detectors, System Sensor of St. Charles, Ill., has added the 2251BR remote test capable photoelectric detector for a simplified remote testing capability.
With the photoelectric detector, users can remotely test the InnovairFlex DNR (W) duct smoke detector in conjunction with System Sensor's RTS151 or RTS151KEY remote test stations. It eliminates the need for the DCOIL or external 24V power to duct smoke installations, reducing the additional first cost and installation labor associated with the DCOIL and pulling external power, according to the company.
The duct smoke detector offers false alarm immunity and a broad temperature range of -4 ° F to 158° F.
