Gentex Corp. of Zeeland, Mich., unveils the GN-503FF, a photoelectric smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarm designed with two sets of Form A/Form C relay contacts that activate independently for smoke and CO events.
The 120VAC hard-wired alarm comes with 9VDC alkaline battery back-up in the event building power is lost. It also includes a battery drawer on the side of the unit to allow for simple battery replacement without removing the unit from the wall or ceiling.
In addition to its smoke and CO sensing technology, the GN-503FF includes tandem interconnect capabilities, a differentiating signal for each alarm type annunciation, quick disconnect wire harness, low or missing battery indicator, and push button self-test and functionality test.
