Visonic PowerMaster 30 Wireless Alarm System

Visonic Ltd. of Bloomfield, Conn., releases the PowerMaster-30, a wireless alarm system for large residential homes and mid-size businesses.

Integrating the company's PowerG wireless network, the product uses two-way low-power hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology. It employs advanced radio and diversity antenna technologies that, when combined with FHSS and synchronized TDMA communication, result in an extremely large transmission range of up to 6,000 feet and supports up to 127 devices/peripherals with 64 zones and 48 users.

Designed to handle high bandwidth, the product enables the network to transmit large amounts of data in a short time, according to the company. It also supports audio and video alarm verification applications.

The company maintains that the system comes equipped with a toolset that simplifies and shortens installation time and provides the means for fast and effective system configuration and maintenance. In addition to on-site and remote configuration, installers get an on-site and remote RF diagnostic tool and remote walk testing.

The product has built-in voice prompts and supports a variety of PowerG-enabled devices.
