CHELMSFORD, Mass. - Three training courses offered by Axis Communications have been accepted by BISCI for continuing education credits and by the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) for continuing education units.
The courses, "Network Video Fundamentals," "Advanced Encoder" and "AXIS Camera Station," are part of the Axis Communications Academy training program, designed to educate and certify partners enrolled in its Channel Partner Program. The academy offers introductory courses, as well as advanced and specialized training.
"We are excited that our courses now qualify for BISCI CECs and NBFAA CEUs," says Fredrik Nilsson, general manager of Axis Communications. "The Axis Communications Academy courses enable security and IT professionals to smoothly adapt their businesses to the growing opportunity of network video."
With "Network Video Fundamentals," Axis personnel educate partners about the company's network video technologies and products. More than 12,000 graduates have completed the course in the past four years. The class is offered 35 times each year in each region of North America. Students are expected to leave class with the knowledge to sell, install, configure and support Axis products.
The "AXIS Camera Station" and "Advanced Encoder" classes are advanced, technical courses that allow students to become highly proficient with these products.
