AD Group, the parent company of Dedicated Micros, has embarked on a restructuring program to emphasize its commitment to IP video systems and will aim to strengthen its project sales operations across the Americas.
IP video and integrated systems products offered by AD Group companies will now be marketed exclusively through AD Network Video, a newly launched arm of the business. The new branch will focus its efforts on large-scale, integrated video surveillance projects.
The Dedicated Micros’ Chantilly, Va.-based office will also have an expanded AD Group focus with the completion of a new training and demonstration facility. The company’s seminar program will continue to communicate the AD Network Video message to architect and engineers, integrators and end users throughout 2010.
The company has also realigned its sales force as part of the restructuring. John Bonsee, senior vice president, business development at Dedicated Micros, will take a similar role at AD Network Video. Bonsee will be responsible for sales in the transportation market. He will work with Jon VanDiver, sales director, AD Network Video. Dedicated Micros’ current sales director, Don Macpherson, will continue to lead the sales of CCTV products through key distribution channels.
In a separate move, Tammy Larson, vice president customer support services, will be responsible for the local operation of the business following the departure of Mark Provinsal, former executive vice president for Dedicated Micros in the Americas.
