Mirasys, D-Link Partnership Provides Integrated IP Surveillance

Mirasys Ltd. and D-Link have formed a global partnership to provide an integrated IP surveillance solution and management platform to worldwide existing CCTV users which are running on legacy analog systems, as well as the IT system integrator market.

The cooperation ensures the systems compatibility and allows customers the advantage of two market leaders' products. Businesses now have the flexibility to build an effective solution with both brands.

This cooperation strengthens D-Link's initiative to provide higher value IP surveillance products and solutions to meet today customers' business need," says Antony Lai, vice president of the Business Solution Unit, D-Link. "Moreover, Mirasys' wide base of users will facilitate D-Link's growth in the IP surveillance technology space."

Mirasys is able to add value to D-Link's network cameras and IP surveillance offerings via innovative new technologies such as the recently announced Open Platform for video content analysis. This allows customers to effortlessly select any VCA solution to address the specific security requirements of their business without any complex and costly changes to the existing infrastructure. The technology enables the transition from analog to IP to become a much simpler and streamlined process.

Initially, Mirasys, an open platform digital CCTV and video surveillance solutions provider, and D-Link, a provider for end-to-end networking solutions, will focus on the U.K. and the European region before expanding to other regions.
