PSA Names Arecont Vision as Outstanding New Vendor

June 30, 2010 | Comments (0) | Post a comment

During the 2010 PSA-Tec show, IP-camera manufacturer Arecont Vision was honored with the PSA Outstanding New Vendor Award. The award acknowledges PSA vendor partners who provide the organization with outstanding service and quality products.

Winning vendors were selected based on achieving high scores on a survey completed by PSA members and PSA customer service staff. Scoring was based on eight performance categories: technical support, price advantage, responsiveness, ship dates, return authorizations, local rep support, product quality and reliability and overall improvement.

"The Outstanding New Vendor Award that we received from PSA is important to the people of Arecont Vision for many reasons," says Arecont Vision's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Scott Schafer. "We are looking forward to a long relationship with PSA and hope to grow our business substantially together."

Arecont Vision's cameras range in image resolution from 1.3 to 10 megapixels, including cameras providing advanced capabilities such as dual day/night and panoramic viewing. Using H.264 compression, the cameras provide greater compression efficiency to solve system issues related to bandwidth and storage, according to the company.
