NEW YORK — SecureWatch24 (SW24) has earned a $250,000 contract to provide surveillance cameras and security services training to cable operator Mediacom Communications, according to the company. As part of the initial contract, SW24 will protect 80 Mediacom locations in five states.
The security services firm will offer system design, hardware training and installation support for Mediacom. Three test sites are currently running in Nogales, Ariz., Des Moines, Iowa, and Middleton, N.Y.
Mediacom plans to expand coverage to additional sales, service, data centers and warehouses. That plan may possibly include coverage to more than 200 locations in 22 states within the next 12 months, according to a press release.
Based in New York City, SW24 has installed more than 20,000 cameras for its clients. That information made SW24 the perfect integrator for the job, says Mediacom Group Vice President of IT Peter Lyons.
