Avigilon's Control Center high definition (HD) surveillance software now offers support for cameras developed by Panasonic, Axis and Sony. The Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based company's Control Center 4.0 records and manages video from a wide range of 3rd-party IP cameras and analog encoders for the purpose of building hybrid systems and preserving existing assets. Management of surveillance video from the cameras and encoders will be in those devices' native compression formats, including H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG.
