Bosch Security Systems of Fairport, N.Y., offers new functionality for the LTC 8600, 8800, and 8900 Series Allegiant video switcher/control systems. The product is designed to improve management of large video surveillance systems.
Customers operating systems in facilities with multiple sites or floors can now add a two-digit identifier — signifying a building or area — to each camera number controlled by the Allegiant. This site identifier helps customers quickly find and select appropriate cameras in areas of interest when a possible security risk is identified, according to the company.
