San Diego-based Sanyo introduces the VCC-HD4000, a 1,080p full high definition (HD) network camera for security applications. The compact device records video both in full HD (1,920 X 1,080 pixels) and 4-megapixel resolution. The camera utilizes the advanced H.264 video format and features a 10x AF HD lens.
According to the company, the camera has advanced human face detection and is capable of detecting 32 people at a time. The AF function automatically detects and isolates faces to assist the camera’s exposure and auto-focus. Five masks are available for designated areas to prevent the unauthorized display of areas requiring privacy on the display screen.
