Monmouth Junction, N.J.-based Infinova's V1770 is a rugged, IP dome camera with an Ethernet-enabled matrix switcher that's designed to produce a high-quality color image in low-light conditions, according to the company.
The camera uses Texas Instruments' DaVinci digital signal processing technology, a "universal video engine" that manages video data packets along the network. This allows easier integration with an array of other network devices, according to the company. The camera also incorporates Sony's EXview CCD sensor to capture extremely low-light imagery. It can operate at 0.02 Lux, the index that measures the amount of illumination entering the camera.
