Vigitron MaxiiCopper IP Extenders
Vigitron of San Diego introduces the MaxiiCopper IP Extender line. The extenders are designed for UTP applications (Vi2301) and extend digital signals over coaxial cables (Vi2401). The product establishes a full-duplex, full-rate Ethernet connection up to 5,500 feet at 10Base-T or 2,100 feet at 100Base-T.
The extenders, which can fit inside most camera housings, provide simple migration paths from existing analog CCTV systems over UTP or coaxial cables to digital Ethernet networks for a wide range of security and IT applications, according to the company.
