Vivotek of San Jose, Calif., releases the FE8171V, which is equipped with a fisheye lens for a 360° zero blind spot surround view.
It can capture eight times wider field of view compared to to a standard VGA camera while simultaneously being able to digitally zoom in on multiple regions of interest, according to the company.
Offering 3MP resolution, the camera also features IP-66 rated outdoor housing, removable IR-cut filter, H.264 compression, MicroSD/SDHC card slot and vandal proof casing.
