Samsung iPOLiS SNB-1001 Network Camera

The iPOLiS SNB-1001 by Samsung Techwin America of Ridgefield, N.J. is an IP compact box camera that combines VGA resolution (640 X 480 pixels) with face detection analytics for small retail applications.

The compact camera (2 x 3 x 4.5 inches) features Samsung's WiseNet 5 DSP chipset to deliver advanced features such as motion detection (with four programmable zones), privacy masking, backlight compensation and the company's super noise reduction (SSNRIII) to eliminate image noise in low light conditions.

The product offers a ¼-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor that can be multi-streamed in H.264 or MJPEG compression formats.
