Honeywell Teams Up With Crestron’s Integrated Partner Program

April 28, 2010 | Comments (0) | Post a comment

Honeywell has joined the Crestron Electronics Inc. Integrated Partner Program, allowing its VISTA alarm panels to work seamlessly with Crestron automation systems.

The Rockleigh, N.J.-based Crestron manufactures advanced control and automation systems that support security, audio/video, HVAC, lighting and other controlled devices. The company’s open platform approach allows partner manufacturers’ products to perform to specification as plug-and-play devices in a Crestron system.

“Home automation is becoming more comprehensive every day, which means interoperability is critical to the integrator’s job,” says Linda Cortese, commercial products senior manager, Honeywell. “Because these VISTA panels are now compatible with Crestron systems, Honeywell dealers have even more opportunities to increase sales, attract new customers and differentiate their businesses.”
