On Oct. 27, wholesale distributor Security General Intl (SGI) opened a new branch in McAllen Texas.On Oct. 27, wholesale distributor Security General Intl (SGI) opened a new branch in McAllen Texas. Festivities included a ribbon cutting ceremony, a vendor showcase featuring the latest products, prize giveaways and a barbecue.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Wholesale distributor Security General Int'l Ltd. (SGI) has opened a new location in McAllen, Texas, located in the southern region of the state.

"SGI is looking forward to serving the Rio Grande Valley in a new capacity, and customers are already extremely pleased to have a distributor where they can walk through a showroom and browse the parts before making their purchase" says SGI Marketing Director Charles Vickers.

The company held the grand opening of its new branch on Oct. 27. On hand for the festivities were SGI corporate employees, vendors, customers, the McAllen Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and a mariachi band.

Festivities included a ribbon cutting ceremony, a vendor showcase featuring the latest products, prize giveaways and a barbecue.
