ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Mexico's former president Vicente Fox will serve as ASIS 2011 keynote speakers.
Scheduled for Sept. 19-22, the conference will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. ASIS 2011 will offer 180 educational courses and a 230,000-square-foot exhibit space, featuring technology vendors and service providers from around the world.
In his time as governor, Bush was credited with passing education reform, closing the achievement gap for Florida students and yearly tax cuts. He will take the stage Sept. 20 at 8 a.m.
Fox will address attendees the following day at 8 a.m. In his autobiography, Revolution of Hope, he outlines his vision for the Americas and the role of business in the developing world.
Aerospace engineer and entrepreneur Burt Rutan will also speak at the closing luncheon on Sept. 22 at noon. He is responsible for White Knight and SpaceShipOne, the world's first privately funded manned spacecraft.
