NORWALK, Conn. — Two years after rebranding its Northeast trade show as ISC Solutions, event organizer ISC Events has changed the convention’s name back to ISC East.
Show organizers decided to return to its roots after receiving feedback from ISC attendees, exhibitors, associations and supports, according to ISC Events Senior Vice President Ed Several.
“They want it to be the East Coast version of ISC West for all segments of the security channel,” he says. “They want a place where they can network with peers, meet customers, see new products and get relevant education to improve their skills. Therefore, we will be adding the best of ISC West along with some distinctly Northeast features to ISC East.”
Scheduled for Oct. 30-31 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York, ISC East will feature more than 300 exhibitors showcasing new products, technologies and services. Educational sessions will focus on retrofitting and updating to help electronic security contractors increase profits.
To help attendees navigate the show floor, organizers will launch the ISC East Mobile app, featuring a searchable exhibitor directory, interactive map, a schedule for free education, plus updates for show information and special events. Users can download the program from the app store for iPhones and by visiting www.isceast.com for other devices.
ISC East will be the centerpiece for Security Industry Association (SIA) Security Week, which also includes Securing New Ground, the Security 500 Conference and Recognition Dinner, and the Security Week Gala.
