Communication Networks (ComNet) of Danbury, Conn., releases the CopperLine product line, multiple-channel Ethernet extenders, un-managed Ethernet switches and PoE mid-span power injectors.

Designed for applications where existing copper media, such as coaxial cable or twisted pair (UTP) is currently installed, the line offers technology that extends Ethernet networks beyond the 100-meter limitation encountered when using COAX or UTP for IP Video and Ethernet-based applications, the company says.
