SSI Sponsors SIA’s State Policy Digest

November 29, 2012 | Comments (0) | Post a comment

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has released the third quarter edition of State Policy Digest, a publication that provides a review of state legislative proposals, activities and trends impacting the electronic and physical security industry.

SIA created the State Policy Digest to help its members become more aware of state policies that impact their business and SIA’s involvement with those issues. It includes a synopsis and analysis of each state bill that SIA has monitored or on which it has taken a position through its State and Local Policy Working Group. This committee regularly reviews state issues affecting the development, use and sale of electronic physical security solutions and helps shape SIA’s support or opposition to these initiatives.

This quarter’s State Policy Digest was produced with special assistance from media sponsor SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION, the security industry’s No. 1 technology and business authority since 1979.

The publication is free for SIA members and is available to nonmembers for $25.

For more information about SIA’s state legislative involvement or opportunities for participation, contact SIA Director of Government Relations Marcus Dunn at (301) 804-4712 or mdunn@siaonline.org.
