NTC Launches Online Training for AHJs
For all authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) industry professionals, the National Training Center (NTC) will now offer AHJ Academy, a training program that covers general fire alarm technology.
Beginning in July, the free program will offer more than 40 hours of online training, and will focus primarily on code specific technology, such as NFPA 72 and NICET Fire Alarm.
“Being on the front lines of fire industry training, it was brought to our attention by trade professionals that AHJ’s throughout the U.S. are interested in closing the gap between themselves and technicians,” says NTC’s Vice President Bryan McLane. “It is our intent in offering the AHJ Academy to help AHJs better understand our industry, codes, and get them on the road to NICET Fire Alarm certification.”
